This is something that I wrote back in the 9th grade. Sorry it took me so long to post. ^_^;;
Falling, falling, falling. It didn't seem so long ago that she was standing on a cliffside, the wind blowing through her short platinum hair. Her arms were spread out, her eyes closed, and there was a faint smile upon her face. She opened her eyes, revealing their deep maroon color. She was calm and thoughtless. Nothing mattered to her now...Nothing. "How peaceful this is..." She whispered softly.
She'd spoken too soon. The wind picked up rapidly. A great, powerful gust blew her across the cliff, throwing her from where she was standing.
She sighed. She'd been falling for hours in a seemingly unending abyss. Her black gown was billowing with the rushing wind, and everything had become black. The beautiful cliffside was gone. There was only nothingness.
She looked below her, falling through a dark cloud, her eyes widened in horror at wat she saw. Pointed, jagged rocks. She began falling faster and faster. Falling, falling falling, to the jagged rocks below...
She awoke with a start, lying on her cold bedroom floor. She stood up, wondering why it was so cold in her room. She felt a breeze through her open window. She walked over to it and closed it, only hearing the wind. She went to her bed and lied down under the blankets. She fell asleep instantly into a deep, dreamless sleep.

I really like this! It's short, but very descriptive, kinda surreal. Great work! Hope to see more posts from you soon! ^_^
